We believe that children can hear God speaking to them and can have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus. We want them to memorize God's Word with understanding so that they can apply it to their daily lives. KidzLife is a weekly program designed around these ideals and communicating the Gospel effectively to children. At KidzLife, we incorporate fun activities like crafts and games into a Christ-centered atmosphere that also includes worship and the learning of Scripture. KidzLife happens every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00pm in our Family Life Center! Where preschoolers learn BIG truths, about a BIG God, with BIG love!
The Big Picture Story Bible presents the Kingdom as a story that little ones can understand. Every week, parents will read a section of this beautifully illustrated book at home with their children, then review the weekly memory verse using BigKidz flash cards. While at BigKidz, children will hear Bible lessons where they will be taught about God's love in a way that they can understand it. A corresponding puppet show will emphasize the point of these Bible lessons and help kids to discover how God's Word relates to their everyday lives. Our worship time allows us to get excited about bringing praise and glory to God! During small group time, children will have the opportunity to say their weekly Bible verses, where the meanings of the verses will be reinforced by our adult leaders. Young children enjoy creating things, and crafts are a great way to help these Biblical truths come alive. We also serve our BigKidz a snack for their growing bodies. Children love to play, and games are a great way for kids to interact and have fun with each other. BigKidz means BIG learning and BIG fun!
The Bible is God's Kingdom Story and tells kids about how much He loves them!
Because full comprehension of God's Word is our goal, KidzLife features one Bible passage per week. In the week before Wednesday night, kids will have a journal with that Bible verse and a few questions to get them thinking about what it means. When they come to KidzLife, kids will hear an exciting Bible lesson, which will be based on the passage they've already read for the week. KidzLife worship will help our kids encounter God and respond to Him in praise. During this time, they'll hear the Bible verse again - this time set to a tune that really makes it stick! Our kids will also participate in small groups, where they will build relationships with our leaders and grow in their understanding of God's Word and how it applies to them. We believe that KidzLife will open a very wide door through which our kids can truly experience the abundant life that God has in store for each of them!
